I have been itching to applique something for Baby Girl and Valentine's seemed a perfect opportunity.Mary Catherine gave me some places to look to get ideas and I combined two (from Etsy) for this shirt.
It was a super fun and really quick project. It would have been faster if I had machine stitched to applique, but I thought the blanket stitch was a cute detail.

So, I found this idea on her blog too and have been giving them as gifts and making them for Evelyn. Only I've been doing it by hand - I don't have a sewing machine and I'm not that great on one either. The sewing by hand is my only option right now. Maybe one day...

That is too cute!! I just don't think Chad would approve of Grayson wearing the hearts, though. Oh well. What is blanket stitch and how do you do it?
